Flax Cottage Animal Inn is a Boarding kennel and cattery set in the peaceful South Taranaki countryside, less than ten minutes from Hawera.

Cleanliness, comfort and security are the watchwords at Flax Cottage, and the happiness of the animals is paramount. All the staff are passionate about animal welfare, and caring for animals is what they love to do.
We ensure one-on-one contact with every animal, everyday and there health, eating and toileting are all closely monitored.

We cater for;

• Pets on Medication
• Bitches on heat
• Special diets
• Other small animals

Please note: we do not accept un-neutered male cats over 6 months old
